All toners fade warm🤯 heat, sun, & water all play roles in how fast it will fade. you should get them refreshed every 4-5 weeks in between balayage/ highlight appointments if needed for maximum longevity!! Also, make sure your purple shampoo is POTENT, but only use it every other week. Overusing purple shampoo can actually make your hair dry, and overly ashy! 🤎🍦

1. Your products! Yes, using Drugstore products (most of them) that do not have the best ingredients. They are usually diluted and have added fillers. This can strip your hair of its natural moisture.
2. Getting regular haircuts. Getting haircuts every 6 to 8 weeks will help get rid of your split ends which will help your hair not break off and, in turn, grow longer.
3. Reducing your heat usage. Turn down the heat on your curling iron or straightener. I say 350 to 375 max! No broiler heat settings should be used on your hair. And always use a heat protectant.
4. Tension on your hair. Wearing tight headbands or ponytails will cause breakage! I love to use silk scrunchies.
