To our incredible community here and in Dedham: thank you for growing with us. 🤍
Over the past year, our practice has grown into a true sanctuary for midlife women seeking real answers, specialized hormone care, and intentional medical aesthetics. To honor that evolution, we’re stepping into an exciting rebrand:
Essential Women’s Health and Medical Aesthetics.
Same dedicated care, same cozy Dedham clinic, but with an even sharper focus on giving you comprehensive, expert support from the inside out.
🔨 (And yes, for those who know about my creative side: I’ve been busy putting my DIY skills to work giving the clinic spaces some custom refinishes! Head over to my stories today to see the behind-the-scenes transformations and a peek at my design project account).

My favorite estrogen: the one you can reliably get and use!! And there are lots of good options available. Talk to your provider about what makes the most sense for you and your lifestyle. And if you can’t get it due to the shortage? That’s ok too. No need to worry- lots of good substitutes available to keep you feeling good.
Looking for a provider? I’m taking new patients so DM me for info.
Is this estradiol shortage ever going to end?! Tell me if it’s impacted you and if you’ve found any good workarounds please share!!
Experiencing fatigue?? Blaming (peri) menopause? You might be right but make sure to rule out: thyroid disease, vitamin deficiency, iron deficiency (check ferritin). Also explore diet and exercise habits, stress, etc. to be sure you have the full picture.
A little more about me! I’m a Boston-based practitioner licensed to see patients in Massachusetts, working in two settings - one in Dedham offering in-person and virtual care, and the other providing virtual care only. Both focus on midlife and menopause, with a commitment to evidence-based care and FDA-approved medications unless circumstances require otherwise.
Midlife brings many changes, from mood swings to sleep issues and weight shifts. I’m here to help you navigate these challenges. When not practicing, I’m indulging in cuteness aggression with my dog or working on DIY projects - I even have a separate social media channel for those!
Any questions?
Sometimes you just gotta get a little silly at work! We take women’s health and wellness seriously. Ourselves, not so much!
In my opinion, the guidelines have shifted for the better over time. Treatment plans should be flexible, not stuck on a timer, and definitely not ending abruptly at five years. Ongoing discussions with your healthcare provider are key.
This: not FDA approved. Made for facial skin: nope. So what does it do? It boosts moisture and collagen production and is way cheaper than the prescription face cream versions. Not for everyone- talk to your provider. Just sharing a hack that works for me!
Labs in perimenopause aren’t generally recommended because perimenopause is a clinical diagnosis. Can we do them- yes. Should we do them- maybe, and only if both you and your provider understand what those labs mean. Normal hormone levels don’t mean that you aren’t in perimenopause and abnormal levels don’t typically mean anything other than confirming what the clinical picture shows. But it should always be a discussion and shared decision between you and your provider.
Shortages of twice weekly patches has been a problem over the last few months. It’s not every dose or every pharmacy. But if you can’t get it, call your provider and ask for an alternative. Lots of good options out there!
