Before you change your diet this weekend, try observing it.
For one day, notice:
When do you get hungry?
When do you crave something sweet?
When does your energy dip?
Do you skip meals and then feel ravenous later?
Do you eat differently when youâre stressed?
No âgoodâ foods or âbadâ foods.
Just information. I like to use the app Cronometer to really get an idea of what I'm eating and what I'm getting (macro and micro nutrients, minerals, and vitamins)
Awareness is one of the most useful places to begin because it helps us identify patterns before deciding what actually needs to change.
Weekend challenge: Pick ONE thing to observe about yourself today.
You might be surprised by what you notice.

A âhealthyâ meal can still leave you hungry an hour later.
Notice is not simply what you ate, but how the meal makes you feel afterward.
Did you feel satisfied?
Did your energy stay fairly steady?
Or were you searching for something else to eat an hour later?
Building a more satisfying plant-forward meal is to think in terms of a bowl:
𼏠1/2 filled with vegetables
đž 1/4 filled with a fiber-rich whole grain
đŤ 1/4 filled with a plant-based protein
đĽ a source of healthy fat such as olive oil, an avocado, some nuts, or seeds.
đż Top it with fresh herbs, spices, or a flavorful sauce
You donât need a complicated diet to begin making supportive choices.
You just need a better framework for putting the pieces together.
đż Save this for the next time youâre standing in the kitchen wondering, âWhat am I going to eat?â

**Blood sugar balance is about more than whatâs on your plate. **
When we think about blood sugar, food is usually the first thing that comes to mind.
And yes, what we eat matters.
But so can stress, sleep, movement, meal timing, and the rhythms of everyday life.
Instead of asking only, *âWhat should I stop eating?â* We can start asking:
⨠Am I eating meals that actually keep me satisfied?
⨠Am I getting enough protein and fiber?
⨠How am I sleeping?
⨠How much stress am I carrying?
⨠Am I moving my body regularly?
⨠What patterns keep showing up?
Small patterns can tell us a lot.
**Todayâs check-in:** What is ONE area that feels like it could use a little more support right now: food, movement, sleep, or stress?

My favorite thing about Ayurveda is that it never asks:
âWhat is everyone else doing?â
Ayurveda asks:
What do you need right now to create balance?
Two people can experience stress very differently.
One may become anxious and scattered.
Another becomes irritable and intense.
Someone else might shut down.
Same imbalance: stress. Very different experiences. Very different remedies.
Holistic wellness doesn't try to fit you in the same box with everyone else.
Ayurveda looks at your individual patterns, daily routines, digestion, sleep, environment, season of life, and the qualities that may be showing up for you right now.
Then we make small shifts designed to bring you back toward balance.
Not everyone's balance. Your balance.

When life feels busy, the answer isnât always to do more.
We need to come back to the body.
Try this simple grounding practice today:
Place both feet on the floor or into the grass if possible.
Let your shoulders soften.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
Exhale just a little longer than you inhaled.
Then notice three things:
Something you can feel
Something you can hear
Something you can see
Stay here for a few breaths.
Thatâs it.
You donât need a 60-minute practice, the perfect meditation space, or another thing added to your to-do list.
Small moments of presence count. Repeated often, those little moments can become part of how we care for ourselves.

Last week, we talked about listening to your body.
What are you noticing?
How is your energy?
Is your digestion off?
Are you sleeping but not feeling rested?
Maybe youâre more irritable, scattered, heavy, or overwhelmed than usual.
Don't wait until something feels really wrong before you pay attention.
Wellness can begin much earlier, with the little signals your body gives you every day.
Just notice.
Awareness doesnât require perfection.
The first step toward feeling better is simply noticing where you are. đ

I don't believe wellness fits neatly into one box.
We need to look at food.
We need to look at stress, sleep, and daily routines.
We need movement.
We need stillness.
Sometimes we simply need a space where someone looks at us as a whole person instead of isolated pieces and body systems.
That's why my work brings together Ayurveda, holistic nutrition, energy healing, aromatherapy, yoga, breathwork, and traditional wellness practices.
Because wellness is personal.
We begin with where you are.
Then we create a path forward that feels supportive, practical, and uniquely yours.
Come back to balance.

Essential oils smell beautiful, but aromatherapy can go much deeper than choosing a scent you like.
Clinical aromatherapy considers the person, the purpose, the chemistry of the essential oils, appropriate dilution, method of application, and safety.
And one of my favorite things about aromatherapy is how beautifully it can complement other holistic practices.
Ayurveda. Energy Healing. Yoga. Breathwork. Rest.
Aroma can become another way of creating an intentional experience for the body and mind.
Your blend shouldn't necessarily be the same as everyone else's.
Because you're not everyone else.
