I haven’t seen Jennifer since 2020, but when she texted needing to chop her hair before some major surgery, of course I welcomed her back with open arms! 🥹

Getting to hug her big, catch up, laugh and do her hair again like no time had passed was the BEST. I sure have missed this woman!

Yesterday that looked like me getting this sweet boy settled for a nap while my BEST assistant (Ainsley Thornock) jumped in to rinse, tone & finish momma’s hair. 🥹🙌🏼

Taking an on scalp bleach blonde back down to a beautiful, dimensional natural brown was definitely a trust the process kind of transformation.

This one really made me knock the dust off my chemistry brain and put it to work; understanding the underlying pigment, knowing what needed to be replaced, and formulating every step to get us exactly where we wanted to go.

The real reason your hair won’t look exactly like the inspo photo

Ever shown me your inspo photo and thought…wait, why doesn’t mine look like that? 🥲

But here’s the honest part…that photo was taken on someone with a:
✨ Different hair density
✨ Different starting color
✨ Different cut and face shape
✨ Different lighting in that photo
✨ Extensions or heavy styling you might not see
✨ Or it could even be AI 🙄(this one truly annoys me)

An inspo pic is a GUIDE, not a copy and paste.
That’s why I always ask questions before we start.
I want to know your history, your routine, how often you want to come in, and what’s realistic for you.
My goal is not to recreate someone else’s hair. It’s to make it work for YOU!
And I LOVE when you bring photos, it helps so much but…you have to trust the process too 🤎
