The only photos that I took myself in these slides were in the studio, immediately after tattooing her for 2 hours. The before, the 2 weeks after and the 5 months healed with no touch up, are all taken by the CLIENT herself.

I’ve been very patient with this process because I’ve taken such a massive step away from social media, especially with my business account and my industry as a whole, so that I can make posts that are so authentic and represent the experience clients will have WITH me.

I have a very hard time posting someone I care for, exposed and exploited, for social media to spend all but 2 second to view and move on with their lives- as if it means nothing.

This is not entertainment.
I am not a content creator.
I am a woman who has devoted nearly 12 years to making humans feel something good about how they view themselves.
That takes on so many shapes and forms, that I cannot quantify the meaning for someone else, or even myself.
I just know it deserves to be more than someone’s “doomscroll” while they are most likely on the toilet. That’s my logical, albeit biased, view of social media these days.

So, today, I finally felt moved and inspired to share this healing experience with all of you today. She sent me her healed photos that she took herself of the work we did back in February. They’re soft and subtle; they almost resemble what she had before. She is happy with them. We are both in agreement that her happiness is what matters.

And that’s all that matters at the end of the day.

I am elated that I have the ability, means and desire to help. There will be no profiting from cancer in my magical, little bubble of a world that I’ve created.
