But it's finally time for me to tell you who she is.

Meet Coco Buttah Cashmere. 🤎

Warm. Cozy. A little Decadent.

She's everything I had in mind when I told y'all I wanted something that felt like cooler mornings, getting cozy at home and finally getting a break from this Texas heat.

And for my non-floral lovers, I had YOU in mind with this one.

I'll be telling y'all more about what she smells like very soon, but for now...

A few weeks ago, right after my interview for the 2026 CWE Accelerator Program, I sat down and recorded this.

I was nervous going into that interview. I had prepared an entire presentation deck and didn’t even get to present it lol, but all that preparation definitely wasn’t wasted because I was READY when the questions started coming.

At the end of this video I said, “Prayerfully, I get in.”

Well, I can finally share…

Hubbard Manor Soap Co. has officially been selected for the 2026 CWE Accelerator Cohort with Stoke Denton + TWU’s Center for Women Entrepreneurs.

What makes this video so special to me now is that I recorded it before I knew. This was me hopeful, nervous, excited and praying for an opportunity that I can now say God opened the door for.

I’m looking forward to the mentorship, the community, the guidance, and most importantly, being challenged to grow Hubbard Manor into something even bigger.

I’m grateful for where we are.

And VERY excited about where we’re going. 💜

Some bars start with a scent. This one started with a feeling.

I knew I wanted to create something with the fall season in mind. Not necessarily your typical "fall" scent, but something that makes you think about what's coming next.

Because listen... after the debilitating heat of a Texas summer, I'm READY for cooler days. Never thought those words would ever come out of my mouth 🫢

I wanted something warm. Cozy. A little luxurious. Something for the person who may not necessarily be a floral lover, but still wants a bar that smells GOOD and feels just as good to use.

The kind of scent that makes you think of cooler mornings, slowing down and getting cozy at home, and that first little hint that fall is finally on its way.

That's the feeling I had in mind when I chose this one for you.

And we're getting closer to me finally telling y'all who she is. 👀

I’m still trying to wrap my head around that.

Blind Date with a Soap started with a conversation at Coffee Bae that sparked an idea... and from there, my mind just started RUNNING. 😂

I started thinking, how can Hubbard Manor serve the bookish community in our own little way? How can I bring a little self-care into the reading experience and create something that encourages you to slow down, grab your book, relax and enjoy the moment?

And somehow, that little idea grew into THIS.

24 Blind Dates found their matches today at the Get Lit: Grown-Up Book Fair!

I am beyond grateful for every person who stopped by, read the clues, debated between matches 🤭, grabbed one for themselves or a friend, and showed Hubbard Manor so much love today.

And a HUGE thank you to Rachel for creating this community and giving book lovers a space to come together, discover new reads, find all kinds of bookish goodies and just have a GOOD time.

The support and encouragement from the customers AND staff today? Whew. 🥹 Thank you.

You usually get to see the pretty part. The finished bars, the swirls, the packaging...

But THIS is what happens before all of that.

There's a whole lot of measuring, mixing, pouring, cutting, stamping, waiting... and then more waiting because, well, it's handmade soap. 😂

It may not be the prettiest part of the process, but this is where it all starts. And I actually love this part because I get to watch a bunch of oils go from looking like... well, oils to becoming something you get to use and enjoy.

And yes... 🤐 my lips are STILL sealed about that new bar that's curing. 😉

While y’all are still enjoying summer, I’m over here smelling my way through Brambleberry fragrance oils for fall + the holiday season.

I have a pretty good idea of what y’all loved last fall and winter, and trust me, I took notes. 👀 But I also want to freshen things up a little this year.

Maybe bring back a favorite or two. Maybe mix things up. And definitely introduce you to something new.

Now y’all know I’m a floral + fruity kinda gal at heart. 💅🏾But for the sake of YOU all, I’m expanding my horizons.

Warm + cozy.
Earthy + grounded.
Sweet + spicy.

Of course, whatever makes the cut still has to feel like Hubbard Manor. Because I don’t want to make something just because it smells good. I want to make something you’re going to smell and immediately say, “Yep. I need that.”

So this is what work looks like today. Sniff. Think. Sniff again. Take notes. Repeat.
