An ancient practice with a Sheer Alternatives twist. 🌿🥥
Oil pulling has roots in traditional Ayurvedic oral care and has been practiced for generations as part of a cleansing routine—think of it as a traditional detox for your mouth.
Our Coco-Clove Oil Pulling Oil brings together three simple oils: coconut, clove + peppermint for a bold, fresh addition to your routine.
Swish. Spit. Brush. Smile. 🦷✨
And just like you see here, every bottle is carefully filled, labeled and sealed by us.

Don’t Nobody Make Toothpaste Like Texas! 🤠
We loved having Quisha stop by Sheer Alternatives! 🤎🌿
She picked up some of our Coco-Clove Oil Pulling Oil, The Texas Toothpaste, and one of our signature herbal blends—but even better was getting the opportunity to hear about the work she’s doing in women’s wellness.
From her journey as a fertility doula to recently becoming a certified yoga instructor, Quisha continues to expand the ways she serves and supports women. We’re excited to see where this journey takes her and all the amazing things she’ll continue to do!
Thank you, Quisha, for stopping by, sharing your story, and supporting our family business. We look forward to seeing you again soon! 🌿✨

Why do some people have more trouble with their gums than others? 🦷
Periodontal disease has multiple risk factors. Smoking, diabetes, oral-hygiene habits, genetics, age, certain medications and other factors can influence periodontal health.
Having a risk factor doesn’t mean you automatically have gum disease—but knowing your risks gives you another reason to stay intentional about daily oral care and regular dental visits.
Knowledge isn’t meant to create fear. It’s meant to help us make better decisions.
Swipe ➡️ to learn a few factors worth knowing.
Did any of these surprise you?

🌿 Meet Holy Basil, also known as Tulsi — an herb treasured for generations in traditional Ayurvedic wellness.
Often called the “Queen of Herbs,” Tulsi is traditionally enjoyed as a daily adaptogenic tonic to support the body’s response to everyday stress, while also being used in herbal traditions for respiratory and overall wellness.
I infused mine overnight for a rich, aromatic herbal drink that’s simple to add to a daily wellness routine. ☕🌿
Sometimes holistic living is simply getting back to the plants that have been valued for generations.
Would you try Tulsi tea?

Rose hips aren’t just pretty — they’re powerful.
This Saturday, September 26th from 2–4 PM, we’re gathering at Sheer Alternatives for Tea Time: Rose Hips — and this one is going to be special.
Here’s what we’re doing together:
🍵 Sipping rose hip tea while we learn the full story of this herb — where it comes from, what it heals, and why your grandmother may have already known about it
🌹 Making our own rose water from scratch
🫙 Crafting a rose hip body oil
✨ Blending a rose hip sugar scrub you take home with you
Every guest also receives a Rose Hip Herb Card — your personal reference guide to this plant, its benefits, and how to use it long after Saturday is over.
This is more than a tea event. It’s a gathering. Come ready to learn, create, and connect with something and someone beautiful.

You may be brushing your TEETH while overlooking your GUMLINE. 👀🪥
The area where the teeth and gums meet deserves attention too.
Instead of aggressively scrubbing back and forth, focus on gentle, intentional brushing with attention along the gumline.
More pressure doesn’t automatically mean a better clean.
Tonight, slow down and pay attention to HOW you’re brushing—not just how long you’re brushing.
Are you a gentle brusher…or are you guilty of scrubbing? 😂
