My wrist tattoo is one of my most meaningful tattoos. Its a Stray Kids song, Victory Song. Its about how every single battle I've ever fought in my life, I've come out on top. I will come out on top of every other fight I face as well, whatever that entails. I will be victorious.

Some days things feel really hard, but it always works out in the long run. The universe has my back, now and always.

We've made it halfway through spring! I hope everyone had a wonderful - I spent so much time and energy outside working in our yard and then took a refreshing shower!

Some days are hard and lonely, but I am capable of so much joy and I am worthy of love and respect and healthy boundaries. I am proud of myself for actively working on self-improvement and still managing to be empathetic and compassionate and understanding of the duality of a situation even as part of me wants to scream and rage at the unfairness of it all. I have done so much for my own health (mental and physical) in the last year and am continuing to do so, and I am so proud of myself for that. Some days I cry over and over and over, but thats okay! It makes moments like the one pictured, where I feel joy and it radiates from my whole face, all the more cherished because how can one honor the highs if they dont know what the lows feel like?

Anyway. Here's to another year of further growth and the hope that on this day next year, I can say that the hurtful things sting a little less than they do today. I hope that I never take for granted the beauty of simple joys and laughing with my family.

I think one of my favorite things about the last couple of years is the way I went from being uncomfortable in red to now its one of my favorite colors to wear. And forever with the sparkles and fishnets because why not?
