We’re officially in autumn prep mode over here at The Firefly Box 🍂🎃

The new collection is in the works, and right now we’re clearing, organizing, and getting the workshop ready to make room for the new season.

Which has me looking at those summer body oils on the shelf like… 👀😂

So we’re considering a little “bye bye, body oils” send-off before autumn takes over, giving them one last moment before we make room for what’s coming next.

And body butter lovers, I haven’t forgotten about you. 🧈🤎

Autumn means the body butters are coming back, but we’re still very much in Texas. 😂 It needs to cool down just a little more before our weather becomes body butter friendly.

So for now, we’ll be waiting for those leaves to fall 🍂 and watching the temperatures drop until it’s finally time for the body butter drop online.

We still have a few more weeks before autumn officially arrives, and there’s one thing we can say about nature: some of its best ingredients continue to thrive beyond a single season.

Meet prickly pear cactus pear, to be exact. 🌵

At The Firefly Box, our prickly pear starts fresh and is dried in-house before becoming part of our seasonal body care. We love working with ingredients this way because it allows us to preserve a little piece of the season and bring it into your everyday routine.

Prickly pear is the fruit of the prickly pear cactus. It contains naturally occurring antioxidants and nutrients, making it a beautiful seasonal ingredient to incorporate into skincare.

When can you use it?
Whenever your routine calls for a little extra nourishment. After a shower, before bed, or anytime you want to moisturize and condition your skin.

Where does it fit into your routine?
