Thank you for coming and celebrating my retirement with me yesterday! Celebrating this milestone with all of you made the day extra special. I am grateful for your support and friendship, for the wonderful new memories, and for sharing this new beginning with me. Thank you Colleen and Michelle, for all you did to make my party, a fantastic party with delicious food, and beautiful and thoughtful decorations! Thank you all so much for lifting me up in your prayers and well wishes, and beautiful flowers during my heart surgery. My daughters read them for me the first few days and it sure helps. This wasn’t how I planned on spending my first weeks of retirement, but really I guess it was the best time. It happened so suddenly and was a bit of a whirlwind for a minute there, but this past week I was cleared by my surgeon to drive again, and okay to lift up to 20lbs, and I’ll do cardiac rehab in a couple of weeks. The surgeon gave me this awesome t-shirt. To all of my clients, I love and miss each and every one of you.

And we’re out. Last day, yesterday. I am officially retired! Denise
