My version of a BBLā¦
BROWS BACK to LIFE!š¤
She came to me with 5 year old microblading from another artist where some of the original strokes had blurred and blended together over time.
Instead of trying to microblade over everything again, we went with a combo brow. I refreshed her color, added soft shading, and brought hair-like strokes back in where I could.
Sometimes a refresh isnāt about doing MORE, itās about working with whatās already there.

I use tiny hair-like strokes to fill in the sparse spots, give you a better shape and make your brows look fuller without making them look overdone.
And remember, fresh brows are always darker and bolder at first. Donāt panic! š Give them 10ā14 days to heal and soften.
Then you come back in 6ā8 weeks and we touch up anything that needs it.
I donāt want people to look at you and immediately know you had your brows done.
I want them to wonder why your brows always look so good. š¤š¼

I donāt think I realized when I started doing permanent makeup just how much I would grow to love doing brows. The more I learned, the more clients I worked with, and the more I got to see the difference a good set of brows can make for someone, the more I fell in love with it.

MICROBLADING vs. COMBO BROWS āØ
Theyāre similarā¦ but they definitely donāt give the same result.
If youāve been thinking about permanent brows but have no clue what youāre supposed to book, hereās the breakdown šš¼
MICROBLADING
Microblading uses tiny, individual hair-like strokes to mimic your natural brow hair.
This is for my girls who:
ā¢ Have brows, but theyāre sparse or have little gaps
ā¢ Want to add shape without looking āfilled inā
ā¢ Want the most natural, hair-like result possible
ā¢ Are tired of trying to make both brows match every morning
ā¢ Want to add a little fullness while still seeing skin between the strokes
Think: your natural browsā¦ just better.
Itās soft, subtle, and meant to blend right into the hair you already have.
COMBO BROWS
Combo brows give you the best of both worlds ā microbladed hair strokes + soft powder shading.
This is for my girls who:
ā¢ Want more definition than microblading alone
ā¢ Have larger sparse areas or less natural brow hair
ā¢ Normally fill their brows in with pencil or powder
ā¢ Like a more polished, āfinishedā brow
ā¢ Want hair strokes in the front but more fullness through the body and tail
ā¢ Want to wake up looking like their brows are already done šš¼
The shading does NOT mean youāre getting a giant solid block of eyebrow. š It heals much softer than it looks when itās freshly done.
And this part is important:
Fresh permanent brows are going to look darker, bolder and sharper at first. That is NOT your final result.
As they heal, the color softens, the strokes settle in, and the brows become much more natural.
Permanent makeup also isnāt about giving every person the exact same Instagram brow. Your brow shape is customized around your facial features, natural hair growth, skin, and the result you want.
So if youāre tired of filling in sparse spots, fighting with uneven brows, trying to recreate the same shape every morning, or you just want to make getting ready easierā¦ this is exactly why permanent brows exist. šš¼
