Allure Styling Salon

Nineteen years ago, I chose to seize an opportunity and took a leap of faith to fulfill a dream. The dream…to open a salon, Allure Styling Salon. Life has brought about many changes for me over these years. As with many, life experiences often bring about new mindset, perspective and change and I am no exception.

Over the last nineteen years, I have met so many amazing people and many have become dear friends, some have become like family. I have been blessed with the stylists (and nail tech) that chose to hang their license at Allure. In an industry where longevity is not so common, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the ones at Allure. One of those stylists, Vicky, came just one month after opening the doors in 2005. Cindee (nail tech) came in 2006, Leah (Stylist), in 2007, Anissa (Stylist), in 2008, Jerry (Stylist), 2009, Sam and Kristin (both Stylist) came in 2010, Carol (Stylist), in 2013 and the most recent stylist, Rachel, joined us in 2017. We have been through so many major life experiences together…marriage, babies, deaths, etc. Your loyalty has given me much pride over the years, and I love you all! Thank you!! Of course, there have been several others over the years that have come and gone, and I appreciate them, as well.

As you have likely deduced, after months and months of going back and forth, emotions all over the place, I have decided that the time for change has come. It is with great sadness, excitement and even a little fear, that I am announcing that Allure will be closing its doors at the end of May. I want to personally express my appreciation to our clients, who welcomed a new salon into their community and helped make it a success for 19 years, an accomplishment I am extremely proud of!

One of Allure’s own, Leah, along with her business partner, Tinie, has decided to venture on and transform the location into her own dream, The Muse - Beauty Salon. I invite all past/present clientele to keep an eye out for & like and follow their social media and be as welcoming and supportive towards them, as you have been with Allure! Leah, my wish for you is even more years of success than I have been blessed with! You will do amazing things!

Last, but certainly not least, the most important thank you that I want to give is to Caleb and Dan! Without their encouragement, belief in me and the support they gave me throughout the years, this journey may not have been what it has been. Caleb, you are my reason, my heart…my everything and I am so blessed to be the one you call mother!
