✨PURGING--Lots of questions...hopefully these answers will help!! If you’ve never even heard of purging YouTube it real quick and come back!

It's so common...but it can also be super frustrating. It happens as a result of using products with highly active ingredients that increase the skin cell turnover rate.

✨OUR GOAL--Expose fresh new skin cells and reveal clearer skin! 🙌🏻🤩

Getting these new cells to the surface is where purging comes in...because first the accumulation of sebum and buildup that can clog pores has to be brought out...which is the makings of a breakout. As the active products begin to work, the surface layer of skin is shed more quickly and our skin is expediting it's recovery by pushing everything to the surface.

This can look different for every person. Pimples, blackheads, and even peeling skin are common. Some people have no purging period at all!

✨WHAT TO DO ABOUT IT: Stay consistent with your routine. Use your full regimen twice each day...but be very gentle. Picking will make it worse...and also cause it to last longer due to creating inflammation that hinders the process. I recommend a very simple regimen--cleanser, resurfacer (Step 2), rebuilder (Step 3-Drama Free), an appropriate moisturizer, and always daytime sun protection.
