Never downplay what you built just because it’s small.
You took a chance on yourself.
You stayed consistent.
You created your own paycheck.
You built something that’s YOURS.
That’s a win. Be proud of it. 💈
Keep building. Keep growing. Keep going.
8 months sober today. 🙏🏽
I didn’t just give up alcohol.
I gained clarity, discipline, health, and a better version of myself.
One day at a time.
One decision at a time.
Cheap prices attract price shoppers.
Value builds loyal clients.
Become so good at what you do that replacing you costs more than paying your price.
Be valuable.
Be undeniable.
Be irreplaceable.

🚨 UNPOPULAR BARBER OPINION 🚨
Social media made it easier than ever to LOOK like a great barber… without actually becoming one. 💈✂️
Content matters. Marketing matters. Branding matters. I’m a huge believer in all three.
But none of it should come before THE CRAFT.
Before the followers, views, reels and likes… make sure that cut is 🔥 when the camera is OFF.
Agree or disagree? 👀👇

IF JESUS WAS A BARBER…
Yeah, we had some fun with this one. 😂
From walk-ins and no-shows to fading up 5,000 before lunch… but that last slide is the one that really matters. 🙏🏽
As Christian barbers, we have people sitting in our chair every day who may never step foot in a church, open a Bible, or hear about Jesus anywhere else.
The way we serve them.
The way we speak to them.
The way we treat them.
The conversations we have with them.
That chair is more than a place to get a haircut, it can be a place to plant a seed.
We may be the only representation of Jesus some of our clients ever see.
Make sure we’re doing a good job representing Him. 🙏🏽

When two OGs link up!
Had the honor of cutting up one of the legends in the barber industry, Ivan Zoot
Two OGs
One chair
And a whole lot of years in the game.
Every appointment, every walk-in, every person who sits in your chair is choosing to support your craft, your shop, and your family.
That’s something you should NEVER take for granted.
Nobody warned us that “being your own boss” meant being the barber, receptionist, janitor, accountant, marketing department AND maintenance man. 😂
But hey…at least I make my own schedule. 😭😂
