Ahhhh I absolutely LOVE in person hair education!

This past Sunday I was FINALLY able to see one of my mentors (Gina Bianca) and fangirl in person!!! 🤩

I cannot wait to use all these new techniques in the salon!!

Always a distraction!

You know that feeling... you sit down with your beverage of choice, ready to take on your task list and you just have one distraction after another.... preventing you from accomplishing much of anything.

No, just me??

Well.....That's life, right? And where would we be without all of those blessings?! 💞

Did you know that what your hair color looks like in the bowl/while processing often isn't what it will look like finished? ⬇️⬇️

I'll never forget the first time I used a blonde laquer color and it was processing BLACK 😱 talk about terrifying for both the client and myself! I turned to another stylist, trying not to panic and she nonchalantly says "oh no, thats just how it processes.... you're good" 🥵

Thankfully it DID turn out good, PHEW!!

Feeling awkward lately?

I get that all the time in the salon, and it's so normal! Meeting a new stylist can be so uncomfortable, but I'm here to tell you that it doesn't have to be!

In my space I want you to be yourself completely. My goal is to make you as comfortable as possible and I'll bet that by the end of your appointment, you'll feel like you just hung out with one of your best friends 😉

Mother's Day....

The day we're supposed to be celebrated and shown how appreciated we are! I think most of us mom's know how hard it is to even try to relax and let things go for the day, so often we don't. But today, I want you momma's to really pamper yourselves!
Take a hot bath if you like them, get a mani-pedi...or if you like doing it yourself, lock the door and take your time.
Give your hair and skin some love too with a facial scrub, facial mask, hair mask (or leave your conditioner on a little longer)..
Relax with some coffee, tea or wine and a good book or your favorite magazine and enjoy yourself the way you don't normally have time to.
** If 2020 has taught us anything, it's to take better care of ourselves to ensure our healthiest, happiest best lives**

Christmas definitely feels different this year. We did more online shopping than ever, tried to hit as many boutiques/small businesses as we could, wanted to do baking and all the things...... and we failed. 😂😂😂 But I did get a handful of cookies done just for Santa around midnight!
