More lift isn’t always better.

When new clients sit in my chair with breakage, dryness, or that gummy, over-processed feel, the story is almost always the same. Their hair was previously lightened further than the goal required, then relied on toner to pull it back down to the right shade.

The problem is that toner is temporary. As it washes out over the following weeks, you’re left with hair that’s lighter, brassier, and more compromised than it ever needed to be. Then the cycle repeats: more toner, more processing, less integrity.

At Grace, we do it differently. We lighten only as much as necessary to reach your goal picture, with your hair’s health and your long-term goals in mind. Dimension comes from placement and intention, not from pushing every strand as light as it will go.

For this soft, warm, lived-in fall look I used Keune Infinite Blonde to lift gently and controlled, then finished with Keune Semi 8.32 to refine the tone. The result is brightness that looks effortless, grows out softly, and leaves the hair strong enough to keep building on.
