Homecoming prep, start to finish 🤍
Walking you through this touch-up: a halo extension to add length and volume, more highlights, a fresh tone, and face-framing baby lights to finish it off ☁️
Every step is chosen to keep her hair healthy and make it look effortless on the big night. This is what a real consult and a plan look like from start to finish!

Hi, I’m Mayson, the stylist behind The Mane by Mayson (Mayson | Iowa City Hairstylist + Extensions).
With over 10 years in the hair industry, I’ve worked with clients around the world — from everyday women to high-profile names. No matter who’s in my chair, my focus is always the same: hair that feels effortless, elevated, and true to you.
Beyond my own clients, I partner with brands and teach classes, so expect real technique breakdowns and honest process content alongside it.
Hair is more than a service, it’s a confidence shift, and a way to invest in yourself.
Welcome to The Mane.🍸
