Wilde Thoughts 🍂
Not every season is for blooming. Some are for rooting. You’re allowed to do what the trees do. Let something go, invest the time and energy inward, and trust that it is okay to slow down with the seasons and nature.
When we look to nature, I see something we should learn from and apply to our lives. In each season there is a reason for everything.
Right now we are seeing the trees very slowly start to change. To the human eye it can look like the leaves and trees are dying. What is actually happening underneath the surface, beyond what our eyes can see, is a process that’s necessary for future growth.
It stops making chlorophyll. Sap slows. And at the base of every leaf, it builds something called an abscission layer, basically a wall that cuts the leaf off from water and nutrients. The tree lets it go on purpose. The energy once put into outward growth redirects underground into the roots, into reserves that will carry the tree through winter and fuel next spring’s growth.
Animals also shift into a new rhythm as seasons change. Squirrels and bears spend fall in hyperphagia, essentially over eating on purpose, to prepare their bodies for what is ahead. Deer redirect their energy into a different rhythm. Migrating birds and monarch butterflies read the shortening days as a signal to move, to conserve, to change course before scarcity forces them to.
We are so quick to treat our own slow seasons as failure. We push ourselves to do more, produce more, be more, all the time. As if resting means we’re not growing, as if doing less means less success. We glorify “busy busy” and “hustle and bustle.” Redirecting our energy inward, toward rest, toward roots, toward whatever this season is actually asking of us, is okay. You’re not lazy or less productive for slowing down. Let’s redirect that negative mentality. Instead, let’s see this season of stillness as a time of strengthening our roots and preparing for the next season of growth.

Hey Wilde Remedē fam 🤍
I wanted to give you all a heads up. I’ll be having surgery on June 18th and will be taking a few weeks off to rest and recover well.
That means my schedule between now and the 18th is filling up fast, and I want to make sure you’re taken care of before I’m out. If you’ve been meaning to book a session of reflexology, a detox foot bath, or infrared sauna, now is the time!
When I come back, my schedule is already almost locked-in hours and a full schedule, so let’s make the most of the time we have before then.
Being self-employed means there’s no PTO fairy. No paid sick leave, no backup. I wish there was two of me so life’s disruptions didn’t disrupt the care my clients need. But, taking care of myself is the only way I can keep taking care of you guys!
A huge thank you to every single one of you who has extended grace when I’ve had to reschedule due to health challenges. It never goes unappreciated. And the love and concern you’ve shown me has truly filled my cup. I don’t take lightly what it means to have clients who feel more like community. I am so incredibly blessed by each of you. I am so blessed to do this work, but even more blessed to do it for you all! 🤍

✨ NEW SERVICE ALERT ✨
Emotional Support Toe Bean Therapy
At Wilde Remedē, I am always exploring gentle, intuitive healing modalities. I’ve always said it would be awesome if I had 4 hands instead of two! So, I decided to hire some help. And honestly, nothing regulates the nervous system quite like tiny paws.
This session includes:
• Light pacing across the spine (a.k.a. “toe bean activation”)
• Intuitive biscuit-making on pressure points
Benefits may include:
• Reduced anxiety + stress
• Deep nervous system regulation
• Increased serotonin (and slight inability to move)
We call this…
✨ Purr-essure Point Therapy ✨
Because healing should be paws-itively relaxing.
Upgrade options:
• Deep Knead Release (advanced biscuit work)
• Feline Frequency Alignment
• Sacred Snuggle Integration
Best suited for those who:
• Are emotionally overwhelmed
• Love cats more than people (no judgment here)
• Understand that healing isn’t always purr-fectly predictable
April Fools 😌🐾
…but if you’ve ever had a cat walk across your back, you know this is basically real therapy.
Pictured here is Louis Litt, my sweet guy who loves sleeping on his back and cuddles!
