Meet WallE, our newest greeter in training.

He’s a heart-melting cockapoo, weighing 9 pounds and 10 months old. He’s currently learning the important stuff: where everyone hangs out, which humans can be trusted for extra attention, why Frank brings all his toys to the front door and how to properly welcome YOU to Luminous. 😍

With a trainee officially under his wing, Frank has earned a promotion to Senior Greeter and will be showing WallE how it’s done.

For now, WallE is taking in his new surroundings and easing into his new role. Like many of us on our first visit to Luminous, there might be a little shyness at first…

but we all know what happens once you get comfortable around here. 😉

I officially finished my 12-month oncology course! 🙌

And when I say this one was a lot… my final exam took me all day Friday, followed by another day and a half to complete three case studies. This picture is a little glimpse at just how much studying went into it. 📚😅

Now before anyone wonders… NO, I’m not going to start treating cancer at Luminous. (I have a tremendous amount of respect for the specialists who do that work every day.)

I took this course because I want to keep expanding my knowledge of the body, disease, treatments and all of the things that can affect a person’s health along the way. The more I learn, the more I realize how rarely there is a one-size-fits-all answer.

And THAT is the direction I keep finding myself pulled toward with Luminous.

More individualized care. More looking at the whole person. More options in my toolbox so I can help people based on what they actually need.

I’m still learning what that will look like here, but I’m excited about where it’s going.✨

Next up, I’m getting back to my functional medicine certification. 🧬I’ve completed Level 1 of 3 and had put the rest on hold while I tackled this course. I’m also exploring where peptides may fit into what I offer in the future.

…And don’t worry, I still LOVE the aesthetics side too. 😉 Factor Five is coming, and I have another aesthetics training in October. 👀

There is a LOT I want to learn and bring to Luminous. I’m hoping by the end of this year I’ll finally have a little more time to start putting all of these pieces together and show you what “individualized care” can really look like here. 🎁

But for now… I’m celebrating getting through this beast. ✔️😂
