moms friends ✨

There are a few of them that come to see me since she’s passed and they bring so much joy to me. I’ve bragged on Mrs. Marcia before, but truly… she has filled a little hole in my heart. When mom passed, Mrs. Marcia took care of our bellies. Numerous times she dropped off full blown homemade meals. Drinks, main course, sides, and all the extras. She and mom weren’t super close but she knew I needed hands and she offered hers.

I’ve been cutting Mrs. Marcia’s hair for almost a year now. She helped me through the loss of my mom and I had the privilege to cut her hair and get her ready to lay her own mom to rest.

I always told my mom I would never cut anyone’s pixie/bixie, unless it was hers. But- I have two of my moms friends, who trust me to work magic on pixies. Mrs. Marcia switched it up and trusted the process and boy… we are obsessed.

ALLLLL that to say- It’s not just hair for me. It’s real life. The really good & the really bad.

Fresh menu just for you 🦋
