Thursday MOTD 🤎

It is HUMID today, and I had absolutely no desire to put on a full beat. 😂 So this was one of those days where I reached for products I already know and trust to do the job without needing seventeen different steps.

I pulled out my beloved ColourPop Stone Cold Fox because I’m still working on getting more progress on the shades I’m focusing on for my Pan in Everything. We are going to hit those pans, dammit. 😂

But I wanted the eye to have a little something extra without making it heavy, so I brought in Half Magic Blushing Lizard for the lid. That soft, sparkly pink was PERFECT. ✨ It gives the whole look just enough without taking it into full-glam territory.

This is exactly the kind of makeup I want on a hot, sticky day: less product, trusted favorites, still put together.

Wednesday MOTD 🌹

After all of the cool-toned looks I've been doing lately, I was READY for something warm and rosy today.
I pulled out my Melt Gemini 2 palette and this color story was exactly what I needed. Those warm, grungy rose tones are just so freaking pretty. 😍

For the lid, I brought in Sydney Grace Sand Harbor. I knew that warm golden/bronzy shimmer would be perfect with these shades and YEP. That was the right decision. 😂

Three straight days of thunderstorms. ⛈️⚡

Most normal people: Probably a good time to go inside.
Me: Oooooh, lightning! 🏃🏻‍♀️😂

I have always LOVED thunderstorms. The thunder, the lightning, the wind right before everything lets loose...all of it. And yes, I am absolutely that person who will go outside in the middle of a lightning storm just to stand there and watch. ⚡

We've had storm after storm after storm the last few days, and while three days of it might be a little excessive 😂, I got some incredible video and managed to catch quite a few lightning strikes.

There is just something about watching the sky light up like this that I will never get tired of.

Anyone else a storm watcher, or are you inside wondering what is wrong with people like me? 😂⛈️

Apparently today I decided one palette was not enough. 😉😂

🎃 Pumpkin season is... almost here. (Don't worry, I'm still hanging onto summer! 😆)

Ash Ash sent me this Pumpkin Cheesecake recipe from iRick Wiggins , and of course I had to make it! Go over to his page to get this awesome recipe!

His original recipe is a single serving, but I tripled it so I could share it with the family.

I topped it with homemade whipped cream: 🤍 1 cup heavy cream 🤍 2 tablespoons powdered sweetener (1:1 sugar replacement) 🤍 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Whip to soft peaks and pile it on!

My honest review:
⭐ Super easy to make. ⭐ Creamy and definitely satisfied the pumpkin craving. ⭐ Next time I'd add a little more pumpkin purée and a little more pumpkin pie spice because I that's just how I like it 🤷🏻‍♀️ but this is definitely going in the notebook!

🌊 Saturday MOTD 🌊

Today's look was inspired by cotton candy skies over the ocean. Which is where I wish I could be right now💙☁️

I finally got to dip into the Nomad Coastal Cruise Matte Palette that was so generously gifted to me by DW Dubs Beauty Diary . It is every bit as beautiful as I hoped it would be! The mattes blend like a dream.

For the shimmer, I reached into my Glamlite Rick and Morty palette to keep working on my Deck of Panning No Pan Left Behind project...

🎉 One more shade complete! Only 3 shades left until I've used every shade in the palette at least once!

These project pans are reminding me how much fun it is to mix palettes together instead of reaching for just one.

One of my favorite things about project panning is mixing palettes and singles together. It keeps my makeup collection feeling fresh while making progress on the products I'm trying to use.

The pans are coming... just very slowly. 😂

Right now I'm putting most of my focus on the three shades in the first row because they're showing the most promise for new pans. It's only August, and I still have five months to make as much progress as I can!
