🍒 black cherry balayage, my absolute favorite way to give dark brunettes gorgeous, high end looking dimension without sacrificing their signature depth.

when working with deep bases, the magic happens entirely in the multi tonal reflection. instead of a flat, solid color, this dimensional placement has the hair catching the light with subtle, red violet and copper tones.

for my fellow colorists looking to replicate :

the prep: teasy lights with silver lightening cream + 12vol. lifted the hair to a level 7. followed by an initial glossing stage to set the foundational tone. 20g 6.40 + 10g 5.75 + 12 vol 1:1 ratio.

the final overlay: a custom cocktail of pure shades in cat’s eye, carnelian, and ruby whipped together with synergy mousse for extra vibrancy and shine.
