Sad but true
Tomorrow I will be released from the Neighborhoods. I will will continue with home healthcare until I can drive, at which time I will return to outpatient PT like I had before surgery. I'm anxious to experience life with a new knee! More mobility with less pain.
Moved from Boone Hospital to the Neighborhoods on Monday for rehab for a week or so. Better, faster, stronger by the day. Today they removed the original dressing including a wound vacuum pump which helps with healing. So no more cords, tubes or other accouterments other than the walker,whose days are numbered. Hoping to transition (don't tell MAGA) to a cane next week and hopefully home by next weekend.
FINALLY Today is new knee-day D-day ‼️Yay!
