Cheek filler is one of my favorite treatments to teach because there’s so much more to think about than where you’re putting the product

In this patient, I’m working sub-Q along the lateral face to create contour, then going down to periosteum where I want more projection and support. I’m paying attention to my landmarks, staying out of areas I don’t want to add heaviness to, and watching the tissue rise as I place the product.

This is where understanding your anatomy really changes the way you inject. You’re able to look at the face, know what you’re trying to accomplish in each area, and choose your technique accordingly! ❤️
