Good skincare habits can start young — without a 10-step routine.

I loved teaching this sweet group of kids about skincare, and it reminded me how important these early conversations are.

Kids are being introduced to skincare younger than ever. But young skin doesn’t need a cabinet full of strong actives, complicated routines, or products meant for adult skin.

What I want the next generation to learn is much simpler: gently cleanse your skin. Moisturize when you need it. Wear sunscreen. Pay attention to ingredients. And understand that caring for your skin should never come from feeling like there’s something wrong with it.

We had fun, played with skincare, and talked about taking care of the skin they already have.

Those are the habits I hope they carry with them.
