All jokes aside, sometimes it really feels like I don’t know what the heck I’m doing when I’m working on someone. I’ve joked before that it’s just Spirit moving through me, but I do genuinely think that sometimes. And no, not in a gross god complex way🤮 but in the way of “this is absolutely what I’ve been put here to do” and sometimes it feels like I’m getting angelic assistance👼🏼

Yes, I know the anatomy & physiology of the body, chakra and energy points, fascial lines, where some emotions are classically “stored” and a whole lot more, but when I’m so in the zone, I’m just listening to my clients body and flowing with that.

There’s SO much new information about our bodies that comes out all the time. Stuff that I have to learn and unlearn, and truthfully, it can be overwhelming. So, I mostly rely on my intuitive nature and what I’m feeling in the moment and it usually works wonders✨

It’s a refreshing feeling to know that most bodyworkers feel this way

Devotion vs. Discipline

I’m someone who has a very hard time with discipline when it comes to, honestly, anything that feels like an obligation.

Discipline has such a negative connotation to me. It feels like an outside authority telling me there’s something I HAVE to do, and I don’t deal well with authority🫠

But devotion? That resonates so much more. I’m devoted to myself wholeheartedly.

Being devoted to my health and well being seems like a no brainer to me. I’m deserving and worthy of taking care of my body and my mental, emotional, spiritual, physical health because it’s truly all I have at the end of the day.

For me, this looks like receiving bodywork, movement, nourishing with food that feels good, nature, prayer, and listening to my intuition. I deserve to do these things. And so do you, however that looks✨

Massage is my medium! The connection and relationship is the real bread and butter🍞🧈
