The Luxe Lounge Salon

With the passing of Dolly, I feel like we've all done a lot of reflecting; and one of the things I know that we have been reflecting on the salon is that we should all have Dolly like traits. But since that wouldn't be a super exciting post we've decided we're going to do what song our social media person feels like is a representation of each of our Stylists. So buckle up.

When we tell you that Destiny does more than 9 to 5, you wouldn't be surprised, she has such a wonderful work ethic and makes being in the salon fun. Granted she'll be having fun by herself with her 8am appointments, but it's still fun.

Fun Fact: The backup vocals in this song are the women she worked with in the set of the 9 to 5 movie, since she wanted to make sure actual working women were represented.

This song fits Timka so perfectly because she is so incredibly multi-faceted, is not just one thing but many things and that probably what we love most about her. Also this song is perfect if you've ever seen her patchwork extensions (iykyk).

Fun Fact: the original coat of many colors had to be taken apart to be used for other clothing items for her 11 siblings, but they did recreate it now sits in her wardrobe archive.

This song is all about taking chances and believing in yourself, and we feel like that is a great representation of Addie. It's amazing to see someone grow as much as she has in the last 2 years and we can't wait to see her grow even more and keep taking chances.

Fun Fact: this song is from her album Run, Rose, Run, which was her 48th studio album and is in partnership with James Patterson for his book, further showing her love of supporting the literacy arts.

This song is soft and peaceful, just like Peri. She truly is such a calm and peaceful presence in the salon. 'Whenever I am with you, I think of butterflies' and we think that is a great example of how you feel around Peri.

Meet Emily ✨

Emily is stubborn, loyal, dependable, and aggressively a girls girl. She’ll gas you up, protect your feelings, fix your hair, and remind you that men are disappointing… with the very specific exception of her husband. 😂💛

She absolutely kills blonding and extensions, and her clients know they’re getting someone who genuinely cares every time they sit in her chair.

Just one piece of advice: don’t touch her stuff unless you’re emotionally prepared for the consequences. 😉

She’s been one of our day ones, and Luxe wouldn’t be Luxe without her.

Meet Destiny ✨

Destiny is fun, caring, and the definition of a team player. She’s one of those stylists who makes every appointment feel like catching up with an old friend. 💛

Behind the chair, she can truly do it all — but what really makes her special is the way she connects with her clients and everyone around her.

We’re so happy her and Heather found their way to Luxe, and honestly the salon wouldn’t feel the same without them.

Also… if there’s something trending on TikTok Shop, just assume Destiny already owns it. 😂

Meet Kayla ✨

Kayla is southern, sweet, a little stubborn, and always up for an adventure. She’s the kind of stylist who makes you feel comfortable the second you sit in her chair — and always has a listening ear when you need it.

She loves blondes and extensions, and it shows in her work.

She took some time away to join the Air Force, but came back to the salon because she genuinely loves what she does — and we’re really glad she did.

Also… she’s a lowkey pool shark. 🎱
