The Truth About Box Dye
And why it can't always be fixed in one session...

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is:
"Can't we just lighten it?"
The truth is, box dye is often much more complex than it appears.

Here's why:
✨ Box dye layers on top of itself over time, creating multiple levels of artificial pigment.
✨ The color on the box isn't always the color that's actually in your hair.
✨ Previous color, mineral buildup, medication, hair history, and even well water can affect the outcome.
✨ Trying to remove years of box color in one appointment can compromise the health and integrity of your hair.

As much as I love a dramatic transformation, healthy hair will always come first.
