Change your hair. Wear some pretty earrings that you think look ridiculous on you. Hug someone for no reason. Smile at all the people. Buy some new shoes.

Whatever it is for you, do something fun and different! You won’t regret it. If you do, just learn from it and keep trying new things!

This is my goal for 2019 and I want to hear about your goals!!

One could look at a washing machine and see just what it is... a means to an end, a chore, something that must be done.
I look at this picture and after a week of this machine not working well, I see so much good.
I see how my precious husband researched what was wrong and ordered the part.
I see how my awesome father in law installed the part on Christmas Day while we were at my moms eating yummy food, opening gift and enjoying family time.
I see the gift of owning a salon takes a village.
And I see how that village brings so much joy to my world!

It could be a non working washing machine, or it could be the brilliance of teamwork and love!

So my strongest gift of faith is Faith. Service and Leadership are the others in my top 3 but Faith is what I am most thankful for!

God has given me this gift and at 38 I am finally realizing the beauty in it. I am no where near perfect but there is a calm in my soul that knows- like KNOWS- that I don’t have to have it all together to be loved and to follow the plan HE leads me to.

All of this means that when I joined Mastermind in April, I knew it was His plan but I didn’t know where it would lead. In the last 7 months I have grown as an artist more than I have in the 18 years I have been doing hair. It has been terrifying, humbling and SO exciting to see where God is leading me and the salon He gave me!

From the bottom of my heart, I thank all of you who have been on this journey with me! And I canNOT wait to see where 2019 leads!

These 2 women amaze me! They pour their hearts and souls into the love, support and education they provide for those of us in Mastermind. I don’t know what my life and career would be without them but I am so thankful for what it is with them!

There are even more changes coming and I cannot wait to see what this next year holds!
