A California dream, again, brought to you!

To my incredible Salon561 clients,

As I settle back in after my recent trip to California, I have found myself reflecting on just how grateful I am for each of you. This opportunity was far more than an educational experience. It was a reminder of the incredible community that has been built through your trust, loyalty, and support.

Quite simply, this experience would not have been possible without you. Every appointment, every referral, every kind word, and every investment you make in Salon561 allows me to continue investing in myself so I can better serve you. It also provided my daughter with the opportunity to experience something special alongside me, creating memories that will stay with us for a lifetime.

During my time in California, I had the privilege of learning from some of the industry's most respected artist, Daniel Mora. I refined and enhanced foundational techniques in gray coverage, brunette color formulation, placement, and application. What stood out most was discovering how the smallest details often create the biggest impact. Precision in technique, thoughtful formulation, and intentional placement all contribute to creating beautiful, long-lasting results.

Having spent years in education and working alongside respected color companies throughout our industry, this trip reignited a passion that has always been at the core of who I am. I was reminded how much I love learning, growing, and pouring into others. It challenged me creatively, expanded my perspective, and reignited a fire within me that I cannot wait to bring back to the salon.

My commitment has always been to provide an experience that goes beyond a hair appointment. I want every client who sits in my chair to receive thoughtful, customized services that not only look beautiful on the day they leave the salon but continue to serve them well long after. The science behind healthy hair, customized color, and longevity is something I am deeply passionate about, and it remains a cornerstone of what we offer at Salon561.

There were moments throughout this trip when I found myself overwhelmed with gratitude. I shed tears of joy reflecting on how far this journey has come and how blessed I am to have the opportunity to do what I love every day. To be entrusted with your hair, your stories, your milestones, and your confidence is something I never take for granted.

As I look ahead, I am excited for what is to come. New products, advanced color techniques, continued education, and exciting opportunities are already in motion. Pasadena, CA ✈️, here we come…

Clients,

I wanted to personally share something incredibly special with you all. This week, I have the honor of traveling back to Pasadena, California to train at Onyx on Madison alongside some of the industry’s most respected artists — including Daniel Mora, known to many of you through Instagram as . This is especially meaningful to me because this will actually be my second opportunity to experience education at Onyx on Madison.

Back in 2022, I had the privilege of training under Mick Lewis (), and that experience challenged me creatively and professionally in the best ways possible. Since then, I’ve always hoped for the opportunity to one day shadow and learn directly from Daniel himself. To now have that opportunity become reality is something I’ve dreamed of for some years now.

One of the things I love most about this industry is that there is always more to learn. Growth never stops. Refining techniques, understanding formulation at a deeper level, studying the “why” behind custom color placement and dimensional results — that continued education is what allows me to elevate the experience and results I bring back to each of you at Salon561.

During this training, I’ll be focusing heavily on advanced dimensional custom color techniques- (especially brunettes), formulation strategy, luxury finishing details, and creating even more personalized, seamless color results for my clients. The truth is, opportunities like this would not be possible without your support.

Every appointment booked, every referral shared, every time you choose to sit in my chair, you are investing in me as an artist. I truly believe that your investment in me should always be returned back to you through growth, education, refinement, and a continually elevated salon experience.

Side note: I’m also especially emotional about this trip because my daughter will be joining me as we celebrate her 13th birthday together — and it will be her very first time flying 😃! Getting to experience this milestone with her while also pursuing something I’ve worked toward for years feels incredibly full-circle and deeply meaningful to me.

Thank you for believing in me, thank you for supporting Salon561, and thank you for allowing me to continue growing so I can serve you at the highest level possible. I cannot wait to bring this knowledge, inspiration, and creativity back home to Memphis and into the salon.
