If you've always known what it is to take care of others, but rarely what it is to take care of yourself, I see you.
Eldest Daughters Unite 😈
I felt so seen by this trend on social media. It might seem small or insignificant to others. It might even feel like, "Why do you care? Grow up."
But that's exactly the point. We grew up so early and so fast. We were always expected to take care of other people. We were little mamas from the beginning and never really learned how to take care of ourselves.
I think that's why we're seeing a huge resurgence of this trend and sense of belonging among women in their twenties, thirties, and forties. We're just now learning how to take care of ourselves
So if you're just learning how to take care of yourself and you're 25 or 37 or 42, don't worry. It's not too late. We can always grow together.

Hope you’re getting some outdoor time this weekend!☀️🍊For me it’s room to slow down, ponder, and just be rather than do. Get some vitamin D, move your body, breathe deep. Always bring me some peace.
