When was the last time you completely changed your mind about something you once felt VERY strongly about—and what changed it?

When Did We Stop Being Willing to Be Wrong? Everybody has an opinion. But when did we become so attached to being right that hearing new information feels like losing? Maybe curiosity—and being willing to change our minds—needs a comeback.

If the 16-year-old version of you met the woman you are today, what would surprise her most?

Apparently I needed an answer badly enough that I wrote some version of that question in my notebook THREE separate times.

Then Monday I left my daughter's senior breakfast, hauled ass back to the salon by noon and...

did a perm. 😂

But somewhere along the way, this stopped being just about perms.

It's about my old-school weekly “bread and butter” ladies, the younger women I'm now seeing come in every week, and realizing that maybe some things in this industry never actually went away.

They just changed a little.

Just So You Know, You're Reaching People Sometimes the people we're reaching are the ones we never hear from. A chance encounter with a stranger reminded me that response and impact aren't always the same thing.
