There are SO many misconceptions about lip filler. šŸ’‹ Let’s talk about what actually matters.

Lip filler isn’t just about adding volume. Your natural anatomy, lip proportions, tissue, and desired outcome all influence how we approach treatment.

Even the type of filler matters. Different products have different properties, which can influence how we use them to support shape, definition, and volume.

This is why the best results start with a treatment plan tailored to YOU, not a trend or someone else’s lips.

Because understanding the anatomy behind the filler is just as important as the before and after. šŸ¤

Lip filler is never just about how much volume we can add. It’s about understanding what we’re working with. šŸ‘„

Before choosing a filler, we’re looking at your natural anatomy, existing lip tissue, proportions, definition, and the structure you want to create.

So, what’s the difference between RHA 2 and RHA 3?

Both are hyaluronic acid fillers, but their gel properties influence how they behave within the tissue.

RHA 2 is a softer option often used for fine lines and dynamic wrinkles, while RHA 3 is designed to provide structure and volume and is FDA-approved for lip augmentation.

The science goes beyond the amount of HA in a syringe. Properties like elasticity, cohesivity, and resistance to deformation influence how a filler supports tissue, maintains shape, and moves with your lips.

For this transformation, we chose RHA 3. šŸ¤

Why? Because product selection should reflect the anatomy in front of us and the result we’re working toward.

Some patients have more existing lip tissue and want subtle definition. Others have a thinner lip structure and want to build volume. Some want a more defined border, while others want a softer, fuller shape.

The goal isn’t to use the same filler on everyone. It’s to choose the right product and approach for the individual.

Because beautiful lips aren’t about following a formula. They’re about understanding structure, respecting your natural anatomy, and knowing when less really is more.

Where science meets beauty.

Botox isn’t just for your forehead. šŸ‘€

If you’ve started noticing vertical bands or pulling through the neck when you talk, smile, or tense your neck, you may be seeing your platysma muscle at work.

The platysma is a thin, superficial muscle that runs from the lower face down through the neck. As it contracts, those bands can become more prominent and can contribute to that ā€œpullingā€ appearance through the lower face and neck.

This is where strategic Botox placement can come in.

Rather than adding volume, Botox temporarily reduces muscle activity in targeted areas. When appropriately dosed and placed, treating the platysma can soften the appearance of prominent bands and reduce some of that downward muscular pull.

And yes, anatomy matters. šŸ‘šŸ¼
This isn’t a ā€œmore units = better resultā€ situation. Your provider should assess your muscle activity, banding, anatomy and goals before deciding if you’re a candidate.

Want to try Botox somewhere new but have no idea where to start?

Schedule with Courtney and receive one new treatment area complimentary, up to 24 units.

Because Botox has options beyond the forehead.
And your treatment plan should be based on your anatomy, not a trend.
