When I look at this picture, I’m reminded to pause and take in the moment.

I’m learning how important that is in this new season of life—as a wife, mother, stylist, and now business owner. God willing, this August will mark three years since Emma James Beauty Lounge was created in a way I didn’t expected. It wasn’t something I had planned, but God had a different plan.

From the end of 2025 until now, there have been so many changes—some bittersweet, some shocking to say the least, and some truly wonderful. Through every season, God has faithfully carried me. Without Him, and without the love and support of my family and friends, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

As I look at this picture, my heart is filled with joy. A brand-new team—literally babies in the beauty industry—and me, still a baby in the business world. Together, we’re learning, growing, and building something special.

Today, I choose to pause and celebrate the journey: the growth, the lessons, the small wins, and the big ones. Every moment is a gift, and I give all the glory and praise to Jesus.
