CLIENT SPOTLIGHT 🤎

Let’s go on a four-year journey.

This is KJ, When I first met her, she had been doing her own hair and had never had anyone else do it before. So you can imagine how nervous she was about letting somebody else take over. 😂

She came in for a consultation, and I said, “Let’s do some highlights and start lightening your hair up.” And we did it right then and there. 😂

And that was the beginning of one hell of a hair journey.

When she first sat in my chair, she had box black hair. From there, we started taking her lighter and lighter, and over the years we’ve done blondes, reds, bright colors, different shades, even some mermaid color underneath. We’ve pretty much done a little bit of everything.

And she has trusted me through all of it. She always seems to leave loving her hair, so I’m pretty sure somewhere along the way she decided I must be a magician. 😂

Except for that one time I accidentally turned her hair pink. 😂😉

But honestly, my favorite part of KJ coming in isn’t even the hair.

It’s the catching up. We talk about jewelry, our kids, life, whatever is going on, and somehow a hair appointment turns into us sitting there talking about everything.

She’s become one of my favorite people over the years, and I’m pretty dang grateful that nervous girl decided to trust me that first day.

For the last couple of years, we’ve mostly kept her on the lighter side.

Until yesterday. 🤎

Yesterday, we decided it was time for something completely different. After years of being lighter, She was ready to go DARK.

And yes, she was a little nervous about it, but she trusted me like she always does.

And honestly… I think this might be one of my favorites. 🤎

So here’s a little look back at where we started, all the colors and changes along the way, and where we landed yesterday.
