In all of my years in the industry, I truly enjoyed every second. North Dakota, Alaska, South Carolina. So many miles, faces. Extra education and courses. It never let me down. Until Ohio. Ohio changed everything. Horizontal hostility, no psychological safety. My brain was too much for people here, some even telling me to dumb it down. Small brains that spent way more time conversing about others rather than furthering their education. Taking bigger leaps of faith. It's with some sadness but mostly excitement to say that I am taking my leap. My plan was physician's assistant (PA), but my last place of work, all that horizontal hostility, I decided to take an even bigger leap. Straight into Vet Med. Starting with RVT, taking proper courses to pave a path to DVM. Perhaps even specializing in Grey Hounds GP. All I know right now is that I'm taking my gigantic leap with Purdue. So my next 10 years are now officially booked.
