I started this chapter of my life when I was 32. I was ready for a new career and a new beginning, and I went to school thinking I wanted to do makeup. Once I got there, I realized that wasn’t really where my heart was. Then I found Brazilians and massage, and I fell in love with what I was doing.

What I didn’t know back then was how much I would come to love the people I met along the way.

I’ve seen clients walk in on some of the happiest days of their lives, and I’ve seen them walk in when it took everything they had just to get through the day. I’ve heard about weddings and babies being born. I’ve heard about heartbreak, diagnoses, and people they’ve lost. I’ve celebrated with them, cried with them, and sometimes gone home and cried for them, too.

Those moments stay with me. After seeing someone month after month, year after year, you start to carry a little piece of them with you. I wonder how they’re doing. I remember the things they’ve told me. And when they come back and tell me they’re doing okay, it means more than they probably know.

I’m 46 now, and when I look back at the woman I was at 32, I had no idea this career would give me so much. I truly believe God led me right where I was supposed to be.

To everyone who has sat in my room, shared your life with me, and supported me through all these years—thank you. I hope you know I really do care about you. I see you, I hear you, and I love you all more than I can put into words. ❤️
