Reign Beauty Co by Heather

Let’s talk consultations.

Many of you know I’m very thorough during consultations, especially before a chemical service. That is something I will never rush or skimp on. Some take five minutes, but most take 15–30 minutes because I want us to have the same vision for your hair before we begin.

Consultations are also where I not only get to know your hair, but take a few minutes to get to know you as well. Understanding your personality, lifestyle, and daily routine helps me create a look that fits you.

We discuss what you like, what you don’t like, past results you’ve loved or disliked, and what bothers you most about your hair. We also talk about maintenance—whether you’re comfortable coming in every four to six weeks or prefer something you can maintain every three to six months.

Before starting, I explain the plan back to you: the colors, placement, and expected result. This is your opportunity to ask questions, clarify details, or tell me something doesn’t sound like what you want. Please speak up! I can only work with the information you share.

I welcome honest feedback, and if something doesn’t match what we agreed on, I want to discuss it. However, wanting a different look after seeing the finished result does not automatically mean the agreed-upon service was done incorrectly.

Clear communication goes both ways. My goal is for you to feel heard, understand the plan, and leave feeling confident in your hair. That’s why a thorough consultation matters so much to me.

Where confidence is crowned 👑

Me before every appointment: “Let’s get a before picture so I can post your transformation!” 📸

Me after: “You look gorgeous! Have a great day!” 👋

…then remembers the after picture once you’re halfway home. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

At this point, my camera roll looks like I’m collecting hair problems instead of fixing them. ✂️🤣

If you’ve ever sent me a selfie after your appointment, thank you for carrying my marketing department. 💕

All my before pictures with no afters below 😂😂🤦🏼‍♀️

✂️ Early 2000s hair is making a comeback!

Lots of layers, face framing, wispy bangs, and those perfectly piecey ends that give this cut so much movement. 🖤 We finished it off with a rich brunette-red tone that complements the cut perfectly.

I’m loving seeing these early 2000s cuts come back — just with a fresh, modern touch! 💕
