Not to toot my own horn, yes, I am the best at what I do but that's the boring part. 😌

Here's what's more interesting: I'll always choose a book over a night out (just finished Whidbey by T Kira Madden). I've been a Pilates instructor for the last 3ish years and am currently taking my 200 hour YTT training (super excited to go on my first retreat in February 2027 with my current studio!), and would like to eventually train to be a Reiki practitioner. On that same note, I am extremely "woo woo" and can talk your ear off about all things spiritual and paranormal (read the book Many Lives, Many Masters and let's make it a date lol). I have an unreasonable love for cats and mini dachshunds, I will talk to cats through windows and stop people to pet their doxies on the street. I can recite Girls line for line (current read is Lena Dunham's memoir), and I've watched Game of Thrones start to finish four times (and I'll do it again because I find something new every time).

I feel so fortunate that my life path has led me down a road that allows me the flexibility to explore many different creative avenues and interests.

🚨 Let’s get one thing straight - I DESPISE “not my work” posts.

Bashing another artist is classless & distasteful, you never know if the person just started lashing yesterday, so it’s not fair to criticize someone else’s work. However, sometimes I feel the need to remind potential clients that question my pricing what they’re paying for when they come to me — over a decade in this industry, 10 years lashing, 77 trainings & hundreds of hours of work AND practice. This post is why it’s an insult for someone to say, “wow you’re way too expensive.”

It’s also a (not so) subtle reminder why I prefer full sets rather than working around someone else’s work. In this case, there was nothing wrong with the prior artist’s application or isolation, however there is a huge difference in our styles that would not have made for a complementary look had I left the old extensions mixed in. My goal always is to give my clients the look that is most flattering for their face, in the healthiest way possible.
