Turn one healthy coleus stem into a brand-new plant. 🌿 Cut just below a node, remove the lower leaves, place the stem in clean water, and keep it in bright indirect light. Roots often begin forming within 1–2 weeks—then it’s ready for soil.

Taking Flower Towers to New Heights 🌸
Built this four-tier flowering topiary tower for the patio walkway, and it is officially my favorite project of the summer! 🌸 Packed every level with colorful moss roses that love the hot sun. It adds the perfect vertical pop of color next to the lawn. What do you think? ✨🏡

Layered Ornamental Garden Border

Many homeowners want a polished landscape but struggle with flower beds that look flat, messy, or unfinished. This garden shows a smart solution: combine evergreen structure, colorful foliage, and soft seasonal flowers to create a full, professional-looking border. The tall arborvitae, rounded boxwoods, Japanese maple, white hydrangeas, lavender-toned blooms, hostas, coral bells, and bright chartreuse foliage all work together to create depth, contrast, and year-round interest.

The key is layering. Use taller evergreens in the back for privacy and structure, medium shrubs in the center for fullness, and low-growing plants along the edge to soften the border. Dark mulch keeps the bed clean, while curved stone edging gives the lawn a neat, intentional shape. This design is ideal for American homeowners who want a high-end garden look without relying only on flowers that fade after one season.

A layered ornamental border can turn an ordinary yard into a colorful, organized, and relaxing outdoor space that feels beautiful from spring through fall.
