This week I graduated from the Goldman Sachs Black in Business program, and I can honestly say I didn't leave the same entrepreneur who walked in.
Sometimes the biggest graduation isn't the certificate—it's the person you become along the way.
This journey reminded me that God will open doors when you're willing to do the work. Every lesson, every challenge, every assignment, and every connection prepared me for what's next.
I found clarity.
I found confidence.
I found my brand voice.
I learned how to think like a CEO—not just work in my business, but build on my business with intention.
The vision is clearer.
The mission is stronger.
And I'm just getting started.

My favorite quote is YOU HAVE TO BE PART OF YOUR OWN RESCUE. This doesn't mean that obstacles and challenges won't arise, and yes, you will even feel like giving up. But YOU CANNOT. There are a million reasons why things won't work, but there are also a million reasons why they will. PICK A SIDE. Live in the challenges or face them head-on. Yesterday, I did just that. As a matter of fact, for the past 12 weeks, I've been doing just that. With me getting so sick that I was afraid of what would happen to me and my mom in love passing out of the blue, but I got help, put my pride aside, asked questions, and took steps to gain tools that will help me secure my future. The picture is me after I took a computer class at MAC. Those ladies were confirmation that NO EXCUSES should make you stop. YOU CAN'T KEEP DOING THE SAME THING EXPECTING SOMETHING DIFFERENT TO HAPPEN. Marlene Allen thank you friend for answering every call and answering every question and not making me feel like I was SLOW! I'll be done with the GS cohort and we can celebrate like it's 1999!! Loll! My business is about to BOOM, SCALE!!
