She’s a busy mom, a chef, and lives over an hour away from my studio. The last thing she needs is hair that requires constant maintenance appointments or daily styling.

Her hair is naturally fine and wavy/curly, and she never heat styles it. Instead, we use extension hair that matches her natural texture so she can air dry her hair and go about her day without worrying about humidity and whether her extensions are giving themselves away.

The best part? She’s been wearing bonds for the last 15 months without breaks, and her natural hair has actually become noticeably fuller and healthier during that time. Not because extensions magically grow hair, but because she’s incredibly consistent with her home care and custom bonds work with her lifestyle instead of against it.

I see her once every three months for a removal and install of new hair, with no maintenance appointments in between.

It’s been a while, and there are quite a few new faces around here, so I figured it was a good time to properly introduce myself!

If you’ve been around for a while, you may have noticed that my handle recently changed. While my business is still very much Tailored Honey, this page has evolved into a reflection of me as the hairstylist behind the brand. Over the years, I’ve shared more than just my work, and changing my handle felt like a more natural fit for the way I connect with all of you while still staying true to the business I’ve built.

I’m a Chicago based color and keratin bond extension specialist with 19 years behind the chair.

A few things about me:

I’m a huge foodie and will happily plan an entire trip around where I want to eat.

I’m a big music lover and a retired festival goer who now chooses a great playlist at the gym over a weekend of recovering.

I love plants, gardening, and finding new ways to cram one more plant into my space.

I’m incredibly introverted outside of work (which surprises almost everyone).

I love solving your hair problems just as much as I love creating beautiful hair!

What started as a career behind the chair has evolved into something so much more than I could have imagined. I get to help women feel more confident through color and extensions, teach other stylists techniques I’ve spent years refining, and build a business that feels genuinely aligned with who I am.
