Today, we celebrate the fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, mentors, father figures, and all those who have guided, supported, encouraged, and inspired us along the way.

To the dads behind the chair.
The dads running businesses.
The dads cheering from the sidelines.

And the men who show up every day for their families and communities — thank you.
We also recognize that Father’s Day can bring many emotions. Whether you’re celebrating, remembering, honoring, grieving, or reflecting, we’re holding space for you today.

The beauty industry is built on relationships, support, and the people who help us become who we are.

We lost one of the greats, Fausto Arnieri, former President of Cosmetologists Chicago and America’s Beauty Show.

Loyal, hardworking, kind-hearted, and deeply dedicated to doing right by others, Fausto was a true leader and friend. He loved the Cosmetologists Chicago community, and we are forever grateful for the impact he made and the legacy he leaves behind.

Rest in peace, our dear friend and leader.

Earlier this week, the Cosmetologists Chicago Board of Directors Annual Meeting welcomed members of the CC Advisory Council for a meaningful discussion focused on collaboration, growth, and the future of our professional beauty community.

We are excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to working together to strengthen connections, support industry professionals, and create positive impact throughout our community.

Today, we welcome our beauty, barber, esthetics, wellness, and education communities to raise their voices together.

A proposed federal rule could eliminate financial aid access for more than 90% of beauty, barber, and wellness schools across the country, impacting students, schools, salons, small businesses, and the future of our industry.

This directly affects our future workforce, our businesses, and the professional beauty industry as a whole.

To the mothers, mentors, chosen family, and those who nurture others every day - we see you. To those celebrating, remembering, grieving, or holding a mix of emotions, our hearts are with you, too.

This industry is built on connection, compassion, and the people who lift one another up — in the salon, in the classroom, and beyond.

💫 The 29th Annual Salon Today 200 issue celebrates industry leaders who exemplify growth and exceptional business practices. We are especially proud to recognize CC Board of Directors Secretary, Rudy Moser & Amy Daniel-Moser of a.salon, Chicago, IL. on this well-deserved honor.

🌟 Rudy Moser is a globally experienced sales executive and co-owner of a.salon, as well as Vice President of Sales for a growing consumer brand. He has led large teams, driven digital growth, and helped build an environmentally conscious, top-rated salon. Rudy offers strong skills in strategic planning, membership development, and digital engagement.
