My client came to me because she struggles with Grade 3 acne sometimes grade 4 when hormonal and PIH-Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation. Also my client has combination oily skin, more of the skin is oily than dehydrated.
There are no chemical peels involved with my clients treatment plan. We meet every two weeks, where I perform microdermabrasion, acne wash, dark spot toner, enzyme, 2 different acne masks, moisturizer, dark spot serum and lastly sunscreen. When you and the client are consistent while being extremely patient the results can be great!

What does double cleansing even mean ? Double cleansing means washing your face in two stages:
1. First cleanse = remove the stuff sitting ON the skin. An oil cleanser, cleansing balm, or micellar water breaks down makeup, sunscreen, excess sebum, and other buildup.
2. Second cleanse = actually cleanse the skin. A regular gentle water-based facial cleanser removes sweat, remaining residue, and impurities.
Think of it as remove → cleanse, rather than simply washing your face twice with the same cleanser.
Why is it important?
It can be especially helpful if you wear sunscreen, makeup, or heavier skincare products. If those aren’t fully removed, your regular cleanser may spend most of its effort removing the product layer rather than thoroughly cleansing the skin underneath.
