My client came in not wanting traditional box braids but I told her they were the best option for the length of her hair and she left me loving them 🥰 and as you can see we had a great time during her appointment. her personality was a vibe ❤️

I think that cornrows are to much tension on hair less than 4 inches so here is one of my ideas of a low Tension princess cover up.
