💡 TINT STAINING TIP BELOW One thing I hear all the time is, “I thought the Flow Developer was only for airbrushing.”

Not at all. You can absolutely use Flow Developer with a brush application, and it’s actually one of my favorite ways to get a deeper skin stain.

The reason is because it’s thinner than the Cream Developer. That thinner consistency allows the tint to move through the brow hairs more easily and make better contact with the skin underneath. More contact with the skin often means a bolder stain.

Now that doesn’t mean the Cream Developer isn’t amazing. I still use it all the time. The Cream Developer gives you a thicker, creamier consistency that stays where you place it and gives you excellent control during application.

And here’s something a lot of people don’t realize… you can even mix the Cream Developer and Flow Developer together to create a consistency that’s right in the middle. This gives you even more flexibility depending on your client’s brows, skin, and the result you’re trying to achieve.

There isn’t just one way to get a beautiful stain. Some artists prefer Flow. Some prefer Cream. Some like a combination of both.

The goal is understanding how each formula works so you can customize your application and get the best possible results for every client.
