I Squoozed this purple goop on the hair to maintain the vibrancy of her white hair. Then I chanted a hymn taught to me by the Ancestors. And boy does this work. What a hack! If you ever wondered why your grey hair turns brown/yellow. It’s cuz you’re not applying purple goop and chanting the hymn.

Seeing hairstylists making videos specifically to talk down another hairstylist. Is shameful to see. But not surprising. The Main Character energy is out of hand.

Because of my pride, I thought it that those people were trying to play me. They didn’t ask/tell anyone else to do it, just me. This was a fork in the road moment. My pride told me not to do it. And I had valid reasons to not do it. One being, “I know this big, well known brand has a cleaning crew that comes in and does that stuff”. After gaining experience, that now translates into Wisdom. I understand that the details matter. A weeks worth of hair, sprays, and shoes, build up a layer of Gunk at the base of the chair. It’s a small thing. But if I’m a client, with an end of the week appointment like Saturday. “ I may be your last, but I don’t want to feel like I’m Last “

How I use the no. 6 + 7 to achieve a smooth blowout. Deliberate sectioning for blowout control. This pre sectioning allows me to control the amount of product that I have on the hair. I do this instead of applying the product all over and then sectioning. The “all over” approach, can lead to uneven distribution of product. Heavy in certain areas and lite in other areas.
