Meet Grayson.

When I photograph someone for their brand, I’m not only thinking about what makes a strong professional headshot. I’m thinking about what someone should feel when they encounter that person for the first time.

Grayson specializes in supporting q***r and neurodivergent adults as they explore identity, better understand themselves, and build lives that feel more aligned with who they are.

So for his portraits, I wanted the imagery to carry some of that same energy: grounded, approachable, thoughtful, and human.

Professional without feeling overly polished.
Confident without losing warmth.
Personal enough that the person behind the practice still comes through.

Because your personal brand is already communicating before someone ever sits across from you. The photography should help tell the right story.

A quiet artist often reminds me of a toddler.

Not because they’re childish.

Because when toddlers become completely absorbed in creating, they go silent.

You don’t hear them because they’re building imaginary worlds, stacking impossible ideas, painting outside the lines, or turning an ordinary room into something only they can see.

The silence isn’t the absence of life.

It’s evidence that something beautiful is happening.

Maybe artists never outgrow that.

When we’re quiet, we’re rarely empty.

We’re listening.

Observing.

Experimenting.

Making a mess no one else understands yet.

The work is still taking shape.
The ideas are still finding their language.
The beauty just hasn’t revealed itself yet.

Maybe the quiet artist never stopped being that toddler.

They simply found a different canvas.

THE ART OF PHOTOGRAPHY + DESIGN

Photos from A S P K T O's post 07/17/2026

Yesterday’s Adobe Create Now experience gave me a chance to see what AI-supported collaboration can actually look like in a creative setting.

During the hands-on challenge, the six people at my table, most of us strangers, quickly became a creative team. We selected coffee as our topic and were tasked with building a complete branding concept in just 45 minutes.

Using Adobe Firefly Boards, we developed the mood board, visual identity, packaging, merchandise, promotional videos, and full brand pitch within one shared space.

What stood out to me was not only the speed, but also how smooth the creative process felt. We were able to rapidly explore colors, typography, composition, product promotion ideas, and different visual directions while keeping all of our ideas connected in one place.

As someone who works across branding, marketing, creative production, and art direction, I am always interested in how AI can strengthen the creative process rather than take away from it. This experience showed how it can help teams visualize ideas faster, communicate more clearly, and create more room for experimentation.

A big thank you to the hosts for putting together such an inspiring and engaging experience. I truly enjoyed learning, creating, and connecting with other creatives.

Colorado holds the beginning and the ending of a chapter I felt deeply.

Between the mountains, the architecture, the sunsets, and the silence, I captured what words couldn’t.
