I met this man on a winter adventure, and I’m so thankful we have connected and been able to continue to know each other through the evolutions and mega evolutions of life. Lately we have been doing perms every three ish months, but every two weeks we tune up his sides/edges, and full cut at the six week point. His body has always been strong, but he took it upon himself to be Marvel Movie level, so his muscles are in 4D. You can do side bends or sit-ups, Elliot, but please don’t loose that heart 💚🐺. He inspires me to not be complacent and to keep thinking on how to make my world bigger. He competed in his first body building competition and slayed🙌🏽🔥

Robert B came in with a Squirtle moodboard for an upcoming Electric forest adventure. I suggest a blend of blues including some blacklight reflective color for when the lighting allows. It was great to connect and be able to be there for his first time being blue.

One good Rainbro deserves another. Bill is new ish to the city, and I’m thankful he trusted me with his rainglow mohawk. We did the center with blacklight reflective colors so some of the mohawk will be busy when he is in dark spaces and needs to see 🌈 I’m so thankful that I get the chance to do some extra bold colors this month in the new space Good Hair Day by the Diversey Brownline stop across from Replay lincoln Park

Sometimes I’m most inspired by some gorgeous people with sexy ideas. This was one of the last days in my old creative space. Thankfully I still get to work with this lovely Chicagoan Super Mom. This was one of her and I’s consistent lightener base/tone/trim visits that happen once a month 💚🐺

🚨Round 8🚨 8th time I have had the honor of making Kyle not so Smolinski into a Rainbro. He is a rainbow but for a short time a yr, but he is a light always. He seems to always have a smile and a warm laugh not far behind. June is Liberation Month. I consider it a time to remember to be thankful for living in a time that I could possibly take rainbows for granted. How dare I ever take the gift of seeing color for granted. No matter what has happened or what lies ahead, it is a time I try to remember what matters most. We are still here 🌈
