We said goodbye to the blonde and went for a rich, dimensional purple with deeper roots and different tones throughout. 😍

I absolutely LOVE how much depth this color has—bold, vibrant, and completely different from where we started.

We took off 15½ inches, completely reshaped her look, and added beautiful dimension to help soften and blend those grays for a more natural, low-maintenance grow-out.

Doing hair is exciting. It’s creative, rewarding, and I get to be part of some of the happiest moments in my clients’ lives. 🤍

But there’s another side of this career that people don’t always see.

Sometimes the person sitting in my chair isn’t there just for a haircut or a fresh color. Sometimes that appointment is the first time they’ve gotten out of the house in days. Sometimes they need to vent, cry, laugh, or simply sit somewhere they feel safe for a couple of hours.

Over the years, my clients have trusted me with so much more than their hair. I’ve watched families grow, celebrated babies, weddings, new jobs and fresh starts—and I’ve also cried with clients through heartbreak, loss, illness and some of the hardest chapters of their lives.

That part of this career can be heavy. You carry pieces of those stories home with you because you genuinely care about the people behind the hair.

So yes, I love making people feel beautiful. But one of the greatest privileges of doing hair is simply being the person on the other side of the chair. ❤️

With the holidays coming and my schedule changing October 1st to only ONE late night a week, I highly recommend getting your appointments on the books now.

I’m already booking about 1–2 weeks out for color appointments, and those after-work spots are going to become even more limited once my new schedule starts.
